Employment

We only ever act for employees or workers. We never act for employers.

A number of problems can arise during the course of your employment. You may find that you are being discriminated against or are dismissed for no good reason.

There are positive duties on employers to act fairly in the workplace. If they do not do this, it could give rise to an Employment Tribunal claim.

We have acted for thousands of workers and employees in employment claims which has included representing them at Employment Tribunals. If you have an employment issue it is important that you speak to your Union representative as soon as possible.

Please bear in mind that you only have 3 months less 1 day from the course of action within which to submit a claim to an Employment Tribunal. In limited circumstances, this 3 month period can be extended by submitting a grievance letter but this only applies in limited circumstances. You should therefore ensure that you seek legal advice well within the 3 months less 1 day period.
