Noise Induced Hearing Loss
Every year more than a million workers are exposed to high levels of noise at work which puts their hearing at risk.
Common examples include road workers using pneumatic drills or people working airside at airports. Employers have a legal duty to their employees and workers to ensure that they protect them from excessive noise at work which could lead to hearing problems.
An employer is required to assess noise levels and reduce the risks of exposure to excessive noise as much as possible. This will include, for example, providing ear defenders wherever possible.
We have handled numerous successful noise induced hearing loss claims for workers for decades.
If you believe that you are suffering from hearing problems which may include tinnitus (ringing in your ears) or believe that your hearing has been impaired as a result of exposure to noise at work, please contact us for free legal advice or complete the enquiry form. Please bear in mind that there are strict time limits that apply for pursuing a claim and it is therefore important that you seek legal advice as soon as possible.
