Unite March For The Alternative

In one of the biggest demonstrations in recent years, the TUC organised a march of trade unionists to protest against the swingeing cuts imposed by the conservative government and to galvanise a coalition of resistance to the cuts.  

The march and demonstration was impressive by any standards, with union members travelling from all over the country to make their feelings heard.

Unite's Lighten Up Campaign

OH Parsons and Partners is proud to support Unite the Union's "lighten up" campaign to persuade airlines to impose an individual bag limit of 23 kilos.

Airport staff handling baggage are at a much greater risk of suffering back injuries or other muscular skeletal conditions caused by lifting heavy bags. Unite the Union are running a campaign at International Airports in the UK to highlight the dangers to passengers, to encourage them to reduce the weight of their individual bags to below 23 kilos. We were pleased to be able to support the campaign at both Heathrow and Gatwick Airports.

Asbestos Support Group

We are pleased to announce our support for the recently established North East Asbestos Support and Awareness Group (NSAG). NSAG is a non profit making organisation that provides an advice service for asbestos sufferers and their family.
